DISC CONVERSION E BRAKE?

Use e-brake cables from a 1996 Ford Explorer. They have the correct fittings on both ends and are longer.

I took this advice and ordered the 2 cables from NAPA. Well, I got them today and the driver's side cable is way too short, and it had the wrong fitting at the handle end (no snap-in clip). I have a 3" lift and it doesn't even come close, so I don't see how it could possibly work on an XJ with 6" of lift. I guess I'll be returning it and ordering another passenger side one... just have to find somewhere to loop the slack around. Really sucks because I need the ebrake to pass inspection this month and now I'm set back another week waiting for parts.
