cutting spring wraps

There are 3 clamps on my rough country spring which seems to limit the flex alot. Would it be ok to cut off one end clamp on each side so the spring would be a bit losser and could flex a little more? What would be the downsides to this?

that would be fine.

Hell, I'm not running ANY clamps on my DD 90. Of course, I check about once a week to make sure they're not splaying out.

You could run just the forward or back clamp and have no problems or worries, though...

Cut those off and find these at a local spring shop.
