Cracked exhaust manifold repair

So here's my cracked manifold.

hehe, ulgly welds.. I'm crossing my fingers that it'll last!

If not, I'll be looking for a new replacement renix manifold as my down pipe is already nice, clean, has a high temp coating and a flex joint welded in.

It definitely looks strong enough and the welds look good enough. Besides it doesn't really have to look pretty, it has to work, time will tell.

Besides the exhaust manifold flexing from the heat and motor motion, I do believe all those heat and cold cycles (and the occasional quench when driving through a puddle) tends to make them harden up over the years and a bit brittle. There is no telling how they are going stress and exactly where the weak points are.
