Did you get your other rocker welded in? I bought these from IRO for this trip:



They are installed with the provided bolts, but I think I may weld em to the frame at least.





I think I am going to risk no gas tank skid also. Shoot whats the worst can happen.

Do they have a tie into the pinch seam? If not I highly recommend doing that.

Yes, they have 5 or 6 bolts through the pinch seam. Two legs to the "frame" each having 4 self tapping screws (bolts?). These are them http://www.ironrockoffroad.com/10495.html , the legs to the frame is what I am thinking about welding.

Do you have stiffners yet? If not I would wait or weld something you can grind off easily. We (Gene) welded my sliders to the stiffners when we installed them.

If those are self taping screws I'd ditch them to through bolts. But that is just me.

That is exactly what I did - short through bolts.
