Compression Ratio Confusion... help!

The Seal Power H802CP shares the same CH 1.592 as the H825CP along with the same dish volume.
The difference between the two is that the H802CP piston uses a metric ring package that has less radial tension.
 
So its better to have more radial tension or less? Seems like higher would seal better, or is the pressure against the cylinder wall too excessive
 
I have about 120k on my 4.7L stroker with the H802CP's
