Hi all,
We just replaced the clutch in my kid's '88. The pressure plate that came with the clutch kit was a bit shorter (from flywheel to fingers) than the old one that came out. But we double checked the application, and it's the right kit.
So we went ahead and put it all together. Well, you have to push the clutch pedal as deep as you can into the carpet to fully release the clutch. And even then, it's dragging a little (grinds going into reverse.)
I believe the slave is well bled -- gravity bled, then a few "pump it up" cycles" and we got great pedal. But I suppose it's possible we've still got a little air in there.
Has anyone else ever run into this?
