Broken Axle= Broken Ball Joint?

The top one in the picture is broken or the threads are stripped.

That's how mine looked top & bottom... I dove it to work today (it's not my daily driver) Now you guys have me spooked driving it home! I think I'll play hookey 1 day this week so I can replace them and wheel this Saturday.

The stem of the balljoint is pulling out of the ball itself. We beat it back in and peened the edges of the pivot ball in to get it off the trail.

your probably fine to drive to and from work on it, just dont wheel on it and keep in mind its on the way out.
