Broke my door lock, now what?

Okay, so I'm putting a new speaker in my passenger side door panel. Like an idiot I wind up breaking the little plastic clips that hold the rods in place that allows locking and unlocking the door.

My Cherokee is a 2000 so the dealer does not have the parts. I couldn't find anything on Ebay either. So what now? I broke the plastic clip ons for the door locks and now I can't seem to get them anywhere. Oh yeah, I tried the local salvage yard too and no luck there either. I'd really like to fix my door so I don't have to use the key. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

^ what he said.
Those parts are common to almost everything. Dorman will have you covered. Otherwise... junkyard & get yourself a pocket full of them.

The only detail to look out for is the diameter of the rod. A larger diameter clip on a smaller diameter rod will cause it to be loose and wobble.

Yep, but even then, I'm betting a dab of glue would make it "just right"
