My 1990 brake lights don't work. I do have hazards, turn signals and (tail lights when head lights are on). BUT brake lights work when pedal is pushed 3/4 to the floor and lower.
The switch with a plunger on the pedal arm, I have backed of so plunger is not touching pedal arm. This should leave brake lights on constantly right. No lights this way unless I push pedal almost to the floor. I am not a contorsionist so can i test the switch out of its bracket ? What is the test procedure ? Any other brake switches I am not seeing, cause the lights should'nt work pressing the pedal farther down than the plunger switch. That seems to be throwing me off..
