AW4 - anyone run it in 3 instead of D with big tires and stock gears?

I ran mine with 35's and 3.55's (aw4) for six months or so. I got very used to it to the point that when I put in the 4.56's I was underwhelmed. 3rd gear on the highway was great, and going up Tehachapi pass it could drop into second and maintain 70mph easily at around 4k rpm. Better with 4.56, yes, but not horrible without them.
