..Need to do some engine work, starting and runing the motor for a few minuetes outside of the vehicle without the appropriate engine test stand and was wondering if anyone has any ideas if or how this can be accomplished-TIA

you wont be able to run the engine w/o the computer hooked up. you should NEVER attempt to run an engine outside the vehicle w/o a test stand and proper equipment.
