You can look into junkyard swaps for the 136A ND unit (if you've a 1991-up) which usually fits with little to no modification. If you've a Delco (1987-1990 was CS130, 1984-1986 was 12SI,) you're probably going to have to go into the aftermarket - which isn't as bad as you think, since Delcos are common for swaps and project cars as well.
