A good idea from JU (using front DS and SYE)

I just orded an HD SYE from Performance off road center for 169.99 shipped. and that was the total including tax. You'll have to call them though, their website has been acting up. Any way its only about 20 dollars more than the hack and tap with the adapter. Now tell me you can't rationalize 20 bucks!!

$20 and a new driveshaft so lets make that $220 difference.
I got my hack and tap used for $20 and my adapter was like $35 and my spare shafts were free. so I got a hack and tap with adapter and driveshaft for $55. oh and I only carry one spare driveshaft now haha.

I would still use a front shaft, same shaft you would use with the hack and tap/adapter combo, so... yep 20 bucks!!
