Anyi Issues with swapping an 1995 AW4 into an 2000 AW4. Anything funky to be aware of? Same for transfer case... Both from XJs

the wiring is completely different, it can be done but you'll have to change some things. I would suggest trying to find a trans that is 98 or later, it will make your life much easier.

Agreed with Grimm, you're looking at a lot of work.
Transfer case will swap if you also swap the rear driveshaft (assuming the same rearend) but I would just look for a 98-01 donor for both trans/tcase instead.

Thanks, I have my donor in my driveway, but it is a 95. Time to go yardin!
