8.8 rear axle E-brakes

That is a big...NO. You can get the ones from the Exploder or from MORE. They have a kit for it. Juice
 
There are several guys using the stock cables.You just wrap the cable around the hook and use a small cable clamp!
 
Stock cables and a cable clamp on the lever is what I'm using on my setup (6" lift, M20 rear, Ford SVO rear disc kit-same as 8.8). The Ford discs have the ebrake lever on top of the backing plate instead of the stock bottom location so you gain some slack in the stock cable.

:eek: ,0000oooooooops, sorry for the earlier "blurb".(..cable-clamp question..). -Temporary mental-block brought on by shift from electrical project to mechanical 8.8 axle project-:anon: (Must remember to put aside Budweister tall-boys when working on XJ.)
