Ok, I've searched and looked and didn't find anything about this.
I have a '92 XJ w/a tired 4.0 (piston connecting pin knocking).
I sent out a 4.0 to be built and stroked to a 4.6. I'm going to strip the old block for intake, pumps and pulleys, sensors and buying new header, throttle body, MAP. Do I need to do anything with the CPU? If I do, who specializes in this? I would like to do it right the first time and not have any problems with it. I'm trying to do this in a weekend because this is my DD.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and help.
