Could the FPR, or a voltage drop, loose electrical connection or changing ground to the fuel pump.

49 psi while running. 32 while off. got it. Missed that part.

But then the next time he hopped out at home it stayed up at 49psi. Weird.

StylerG, when you noticed the psi was down at 32, did you also notice the same symptoms you originally mentioned? Did you notice if they improved once the psi got up to 49?

I was with him last night. When he started it back up after the stop at the gas station it stayed at 32psi for about the next 10 minutes while we drove it home. I believe it was acting up when at the lower pressure. After a little while it increased back to the 49psi and the other symptoms cleared up.
