Hey guys, selling the 'Toad.

Hate to sell it, but I got a 4th kid on the way and need something that is easier on gas and time/money.

I'll be selling it with all my spare parts.

I am asking $6000 for everything.

Here goes:

174k miles. It had 31s on it when I bought it from BigAlpha so who knows the exact mileage as the speedo/odo are not calibrated.

-Brand new Chrysler surplus AW4 put in at 167,999
-4.5 in RC with adj upper/lower CAs and adj track bar put on at 168,800
-Synergy Suspension rear spring hangers put in at 171,177
-SYE/Tom Woods Drive Shaft put in shortly after that (forgot to write it
down)
-TNT frame stiffeners
-Rotted Floors cut out and sheet metal welded in
-31in TSL bias ply- they're a year old in June.
-Roof rack has 4 Hellas up front and two JY SRBs on back
-Lights are controlled via a Prime 4x4 switch panel. ! switch controls two
lights ea. All wired via relays and aux fuse block.
-Aux Fan cut from harness and wired into switch panel. Run via relay and aux fuse block
-Cut and fold rear and clearanced wheel wells. I used PL polyurethane
roofing caulk to seal it and undercoating on top of that.
-Homemade hand throttle- put this in for lights and future winch/OBA
plans
-New starter yesterday.
-JCR Tailight Boxes and LEDs (use the two rear lights on rack as "reverse
lights)
-1 gauge welding wire for battery cables.

The bad:
-Roof rack mounts need to be re-welded. The shop I went to took
advantage of the fact that I was on a timeline to move and shorted me
on it. One weld has popped already. They are welded using JCR roof
rack mounts.
-No headliner so you hear a lot of noise from the roof joints.
-Used to have a rather large oil leak that has gotten smaller
after replacing the dreaded oil filter adapter rings.
-tires are loud and it rides like a Jeep (I liked it!)
-T-stat stays open sometimes on cold mornings.

Parts with it:
-D30- Has bad ball joint on pass side.
-XJ D44 rear.
I planned to regear/build these axles out of the truck.
-NEW set of Rusty's 3.5in leaves. Planned on swapping these in with
some adjustable shackles and TNT relocator kit to get the rear to ride
a bit softer and improve flex/angle.
-Used set of Rusty's 4.5in leaves
-Used set of RE 3.5in leaves- seperated, need rebuilt
-Set of RE 3.5in fixed LCA's bad bushings- need rebuilt
-Set of Rusty's 4.5in LCA's
-T-stat
-Water pump (was planning on dual fan conversion and cooling sytem
replacement)
-Alternator wire from 5-90

I got around $8k soup to nuts in this truck counting the original purchase price and I don't know how many hours into it. I stay up on the fluids and maintenance (it's all written down in my handy-dandy.....notebook!). Does not overheat- I run it with the aux fan on and it hasn't reached 210 on the gauge since I've been in LA.

It's a good XJ that just requires too much money right now (gears/lockers) for me to personally get it where I want it, and I can't afford to be beating it on the trails, waiting for something to break (and we all know it will). I plan on buying something with better economy and doesn't require the attention a 17 year old Jeep does.

Thanks for looking guys.
