1991 XJ Speedo Issue - Tried Common Fixes, No Luck

Got it - I'll check it out to see if there's visible corrosion and start looking at continuity across runs.

What the gears lining up?

I'm just glad to know where the wires go for these jeeps. I had no idea if it went to the pcm or not, glad to have that info too.

Yeah despite me being an idiot, I learned a ton from you guys on this topic. Long story short, when I tried the spare sender I just swapped the gear with it, and didn't line it back up where it needed to be. Good to go!

My info in this thread is specifically for the 91. May be similar up to 95.

96 and up all the cluster info is bussed to the IP from the ECM.
