Hey guys my truck seems to have a leaky tank and I am wondering if I can switch it to a plastic cell from a newer XJ? What is involved with the swap?

I'm not looking for smart ass input, but thanks for the bump. Does anyone else like the idea of a fuel tank that wont rust out again or am I some sort of idiot?

get another steel one
it if took 19 years for your original one to develop a leak, im sure it will take around another 19 for a new one to leak
