The speakers aren't bad, I tested them. I really hope it's not the harness.

For some reason the front left and right rear speakers in my 99 have gone silent. I have the stock CD deck, and swapped back to the basic stock tape deck, but it didn't help. The fader does nothing to fix the problem. I also check the harness to make sure the wires weren't loose or anything...

I appreciate everyone's input on this. I had a chance to take a close look at the vacuum tubes and they are all good. The cat did not sound like a can of marbles when I spanked it cold. But, I will take your multiple advice on that and get it swapped out.

The car was purchased in Seattle, so you may be on to something with the CPS, although I don't know what that stands for. What is it, exactly?

My 99 5-speed 4.0 (120k miles, no oil leaks, no oil burning, recent tune-up) dogs our terribly on hills when I'm in 4th or 5th gear. It's the worst on the highway (and I live in CO). I have to shift down to as much as 3rd gear to get it back up to 65 while on a big hill. It does the same in town...

Can anyone confirm there is a defrost symbol on the glass of heated 97+ XJ side mirrors? I think that is the only way to tell them apart from non-heated ones. Thanks!

Nope, both bulbs work, filaments intact.

I don't know what's up but I checked all my fuses and they are all good. My guess is a relay in the line or maybe the brake switch. All other lights working, 99 XJ. Anyone with any suggestions? TIA!

Mine sit just about flat and my lift shackles just about touch the rear bumper. Should there be some arch to these when sitting on level ground? I am guessing mine are worn out.

Can I use stock length shocks with a 2" BB?

The BPE's are by Rocky Road. The shocks are Monroe Reflex and the suspension is not the Upcountry.

Do I need to extend my front bump stops? My front end bottoms out hard now that my new 2" BB is installed. It has the BPE's and stock length shocks. Any help? Thanks!
