Best Sounding Exhaust For The 4.0L?

I have a Flowmaster 50 Delta with a high flow cat and I think it sounds great for a 6cyl. Emphasis on "for a 6cyl". It's quieter and less drone-y than most other 4.0 setups I've heard. Been on there for almost a decade and I've never got the urge to change it.

    XJ radiators, a review.

Seems like I'm late to the party but just to throw my 2 pennies in the mix... I had a CSF 3 core years ago that was highly recommended on a local forum I used to frequent. It was garbage honestly. Temps wouldn't stay down even in easy driving and cool ambient temps. Then the thing cracked on me...

    Wanted: 33" tire on wheel w/ 5x4.5"

Need a 33 for my spare tire. Since it's just the spare, I'm not too picky. Only real requirements are: - 33" - holds air - enough tread to get me off a mountain if necessary - already on a 5x4.5" wheel w/ somewhere in the neighborhood of 4" BS 10.5" or 12.5" width are both good. Cash in...

    Another new car...more issues

I've seen a lot of Subarus blow up due to oil starvation. Seems like the 2.5T had the worst of it but apparently it's not limited to just them. It's actually why I decided Subarus were off the list when I was looking for a new car recently. They're great cars when they work properly...key word...

Meet and Greet in Castle Rock -

 This isn't a site full of web wheelers, is it?!

Meet and Greet in Castle Rock -

Hm...might make that. After living in Seattle for 9 months and now being back I only have one offroading friend left in the state, it'd be cool to meet more wheeling buddies.

What did you do to your XJ today

Took the angle grinder to the short arm brackets....only 10 months after I put the long arms on.

What did you do to your XJ today

I was thinking the way you said was the right way, but the joint is as straight as it will go in that picture since the CV joint is what's messed up. So I didn't know how accurate a measurement I would get going that way.

What did you do to your XJ today

Finally got around to it. I measured between the 2 red marks I put on the photo below (I think it's the right place to measure but figured I'd include the pic to be sure). Fully collapsed it's 30.0", fully expanded it's 33.75"

What did you do to your XJ today

Oy, I need to get on here more often :spin1: Need a CV shaft. Wish I could remember the measurement...I still have the old shaft so I can measure it tomorrow. The CV joint just nuked at 65MPH one day coming home from work.

What did you do to your XJ today

Stared at it sitting sadly in the driveway because it has no rear driveshaft right now so I can't have any fun with it. :tear:

Meet and greet in the Seattle/Eastside area - May 30th?

Ended up having obligations with my boss. How about somewhere in Bellevue next time? That seems pretty central to everyone.

Meet and greet in the Seattle/Eastside area - May 30th?

Woo that's a long drive for me but I can probably make that happen

    Getting Vibes over 60 MPH....

With all that you changed, it leaves a lot of possibilities to what could cause the vibration. My thoughts off the top of my head: -Were the wheels and tires balanced once they were mounted together? I know, it sounds simple but I've known people who didn't realize new tires and wheels needed...

    Just moved to the PNW

Meant to put a picture of my Jeep up and never got around to it. Here it is a couple years ago. At this point I still (sadly) had short arms and no SYE (both problems now fixed), but otherwise, she's still the same nowadays.

 No kidding, I live in Maple Valley and work in Sammamish so I drive through Issaquah every day!

    Just moved to the PNW

Just checked out the thread on that. Sounds awesome, it'll be sketchy as to whether I can make it or not though. Having just graduated college and moving to one of the most expensive places I could have possibly chosen, I have a lot of financial things to get in order before I go too crazy. My...
