in a screwed up way im glad im not the only one to have this issue lol i gotta imagine omix ada is probably screwed up to they have same part # as crown ill have to see what i can find local if not ill send you a pm
so flexplate is definitely the issue holes are about 1 inch off order 2 atp ones both were wrong now im waiting on one from crown using oe part # but if i had to guess that will be wrong to so any idea where i can buy the right one?
plate will only go on crank one way so im not sure how teeth would be off unless its the wrong plate right?trans sits tight to motor no grinding or other terrible noises watching while cranking through inspection cover doesn't seem like its out of round thinking its gotta be the ring for cps...
the 33002675 crosses back to z205 but obliviously something isnt right wonder if i should order that part # through crown automotive and see just dont wanna have another flexplate laying around i cant use if its wrong
so my 88 xj developed what sounds like a rod knock diagnosed it to a broken flexplate didnt realize how right i was was cracked to whole way around was about ready to implode so ordered new flexplate atp part #z205 installed it everything went smooth go to start it and wouldn't start checked...

over last few weeks put in new control arms track bar a bunch of stupid little things and replace tran pan gasket go to pull jeep out of garage now reverse and nuetral engine revs normal drive normal in gear ignition cuts under any kind of load....?
well i finally figured it out cam shaft gear is chewed up causing distributor to not mesh properly therefor ruining new distributor breaking coil contact in distributor cap and causing crazy misfires... that being said any input on after market cams for renix set up?
