If it gets to the first mark (the one that's near the red) I'd say that's probably a little hot. Halfway to the mark is normal-ish if it's under extreme conditions.
You may consider replacing your fan clutch if it's bothering you. It's perhaps the most common reason for the engines to run hot...
FYI, if you need to make a warranty claim, you're screwed. The site is gone.
I had a leaky radiator from them. Their RMA process, which I called and confirmed before starting, goes like this:
1. Buy another radiator from them
2. Send them pictures of the old one leaking
3. They give you a...
UPDATE: IT'S FIXED!!!
Thanks to Bad Luck for sending me a link to this thread. Same problem as me - overheating for 3 years, even with aftermarket radiators.
The fix is to get rid of the aftermarket radiator. They suck. I installed a Mopar radiator (Part 05191929AA - $150ish) and my problem is...

The hose coming out of the upper (smaller) outlet of my thermostat housing needs to be replaced. For some reason, auto shops can't identify or replace it for me. It's not the hose that goes to the radiator, it's the smaller, longer one that runs from the thermostat housing to (I...
Replaced throttle pos sensor again. Didn't fix it. I can sit in park and goose the gas and watch the speedo jump even though I'm not moving. Any ideas?
Update: unplugging the speed sensor didn't fix it. Neither did backing out the PCM screws, or cleaning the IAC module.
Guess I'm back to square one... replacing the TPS again.
LOL. So basically, the only function the sensor serves is to cut off the throttle if I'm going too fast? And I'm guessing make the speedometer work? I'll give it a try on my way home.
Boy, I sure seem to have a lot of issues recently.
Today on the way home from work my speedometer started jumping up randomly. When I started my hill climb home on the interstate, the throttle started completely cutting out and then coming back on repeatedly, very quickly, along with the speedo...
FIXED! Bald O2 sensor wire against the exhaust manifold caused this.
It was my own damn fault. A couple weeks ago I swapped in a 97+ style intake manifold. Neither myself nor my buddy noticed that the front O2 sensor wire was laying up against the exhaust manifold after we got done.
In...
I'm having it towed to another shop. I think I'll get a couple relays tonight and try swapping them around, as well as check the CPS pins for resistance myself tonight while in the parking lot.
I'll see if I can figure out how to check the PCM pins like you mentioned.

I was on the highway at normal operating temp, hit the button to turn off cruise control (coincidence maybe), and my engine died. Electronics all stayed on. Pulled over and tried to start up. The starter cranks good and hard, but the engine never turns over.
I messed with my shifter...
I certainly will. I've spent enough time and money researching and working on this, that I wouldn't want someone else to go through it without easily finding a solution.
The latest on my saga: after reading that other thread I mentioned, I went and ordered one of these. We'll see how it does.
Damn radiator barn 2-row just isn't up to snuff against the MOPAR one, apparently.
