I am nearing the install on my 98 so now the questions begin. I have the Dirtbound triple fan shroud, 3 Perma Cool fans and a Ron Francis wiring harness. The wiring kit comes with the sensor and says it has 3/8 pipe thread and suggests installing in the head. Is there another option to install...
I was looking at the 4in back spaced rims for 53.00 one you pointed out are 3.75 would that be enough on the front to limit rubbing or would i still benefit from a spacer? dont forget, mount and balance around here is 60.00
Adapters are 90.00 a pair. Rims would be 60.00 each and then figure in breaking down old set and remount and balance so that would be 180. as compaired to almost 300.00 with balancing.
Just ran into a deal on a set of s-10 rims with 31 10.50s. Owner says that they are 5x4.75, Summit has a adapter that is 1.25 thick, anybody foresee a problem with doing this?
Was adding my usual can of freon today and just noticed a new noise that looks like its coming from the water pump pulley. If you watch the edge while running you can see it just slightly wobbles intermittenly and makes a chirp sound. Does this mean a new water pump or is there something to do...
JC Whitney used to sell a 3rd row seat kit that sat frat on the floor and folded down, see if they are still avail. If memory serves they were expensive.
I am an idiot, ive had the cherokee for two years and didnt know that the switch is in the lens cover. never looked at it. push it in and viola' it shuts off. im gonna lose another point on my man card.
my dome light in front has 2 buttons but they control the cockpit lamps and the rear lamp has nothing and it works fine . I just want to kill the dome lights when i want when i leave the hatch open
I am looking to put a switch in the back for the rear hatch for the dome light so it doesn't run my battery down when working in the back for extended times. Any ideas for tapping into factory wiring and where?
I Put it the supply line (Foreward line on the side of trans) it was just easier to get to the line to split where it was on the front of the motor. I thought there was a ground problem so i ran a wire from the battery to the brass tee, just bared the wire and wrapped it around a hose cloampand...
I had installed a trans cooler last year and decieded to install a temp gauge, I split the trans line under the oil pan close behind balancer and went for a drive 20 mins and the gauge hardly moved, I touched the trans line where i spliced and the line was hardly even warm. Is this normal?
Yes it has oil, the guy at napa asked if it had a guage and checked again when i exchanged it. Yesterday i copper lined a guage to the dash and now need to figure out how to shut off the check guages light in the cluster.
Yeah i read that one on a search but hoped the napa unit would be ok, ive never had any problems with them before. Oh and i posted in the modified forum about the light so here is hoping.
In th oem forum i had posted that i had broken off my oil sending unit and had replaced it twice tonight and the guage still doesnt work, my check gauges indicator is on and i am considering just installing a manual guage and i do nont know if there is a way to reset the indicator light in the...
