    strange noises

One other thing. Pulling off valve cover and oil pan. No sludge. Pretty sang clean. If its clogged lifter its dirt, carbon, or flakes of bearing material.

Sorry I will try to respond to all the replies and thank you in advance for all the great info. I will pull the valve cover back off and make a new video with valve cover off in the next couple of days. What I really want is someone who has experienced this noise before, and hopefully fixed it. "You can't always get what you want" :)

    CCV question

Yea thats good all except for the cork valve cover gasket. The rubber molded are expensive, but well worth it.

    strange noises

Definatly not lifters just had the lower end apart to put in new bearings. Felt the lifters from the bottom while the upper end was ticking. Can not feel the tick in the lifters. Just the Push Rods, Rockers, and Valve Springs. Feels strongest at the valve springs. I pretty much know I am going...

Sudden death - engine stops, but eventually restarts normally

http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1062496 this thread has tests for Cam and Crank Sensors. But sense its intermittent it will only test bad after it had died. That is for a H.O.

    quality starter suggestions?

I have had problems with a few Reman starters especially Cardone. A brand new one over a Reman is your best option, but it will cost you a lot more.

P1698 mixed with some other stuff

I would pull back the rubber flex boot by the door hinges and see if you have any broken wiring there. Those harness tend to flex when the doors are open and the wiring will break. I doubt its the switch sounds more like a wiring issue. I have never heard of a door lock switch bringing down...

Sudden death - engine stops, but eventually restarts normally

Also Reccommend Cleaning IAC motor & T-body, but it sounds like more of a Crank Sensor Issue.

I would guess Crank Sensor. When It dies wiggle Crank Sensor wiring and see if it starts back up.

Pretty sure I have eliminated lifters, Push Rods, Rockers, Great Oil Pressure. Leaves me with carbon build up on valves, Valves, Springs, Or Guides?
