check your fuel pressure. mine did the same thing, problem was the fuel pump. changed it and runs like a dream now.

i have an ZJ shaft on my Xj with 6.5" of lift, has worked great so far!

well, if it is the buzzer, it aint working, lol! i had it off and it didnt change anything so, i guess ill leave it off.

i had the same issue until a few days ago. i tore the dash apart looking for shorts. my radio connections werent the best so i left the radio out until i fix the wiring, havent had a problem since its been out! so if u have an aftermarket stereo, check ur connections.

lmk how it goes. u just described what my jeep has been doing for the past couple years. replaced a bunch of stff and it didnt do a thing. havent got to the fuel pump though. mine when revved then backfires. some pretty big flames come out, so i doubt it is lack of fuel.

thats some good info in here! Im having similar problems on my 96 xj, gonna try some of the stuff ive read here to see if the popping/backfiring goes away.

I get about 15mpg combined on 33" kumho mt's, and stock gears. The speedo is off about 5-6mph at 60mph.

I got the same exact problem, but mine is a combination of worn ball joints, stock steering on 6.5" lift, and worn out adjustable control arms.
