You would have much better luck on NC4x4... Same as I said on Cherokeeforum. I can name 5-10 guys here in the area who might help out. Our schedules seem to clash pretty well or I would offer.

I am extremely jealous... I hate land rovers but I am a sucker for the oldschool rigs. Glad to hear it went to someone who will take care of it and not just sell it. That story absolutely makes it a keeper. Once you get it fixed up it seems proper you take the old man for a ride!

I agree completely and that is why I wanted to pass the information along, no harm in going knowing about the ledges, but if you drove 2-4 hours to wheel and then saw the ledges, it might cause some frustration.

Gulches is only about 80 acres too... Its for a great cause and some of the most hardcore trails around... Very similar to Gulches, but a bit less muddy. Don't knock it til you try it...
