how do you get the cross pin out? i have it loose but cant get it over the ring gear, its not lacking much to get over it but it sure doesn't want to come...anything else i should know about pulling the axle shafts?
planning on doing the intake manifold swap on my 93 4.0 and the 4.7 power steering pump swap as in this thread http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=946090&highlight=steering+brace is the only thing i need other than the brackets for the pump a belt from a 99?
recently did an engine swap and haven't been able to get my jeep to idle how i want it, and it blubbers a little on take off, but once under way it seems to do fine...i thought i was a tooth out on the distributor but i pulled it and tried it a tooth in both directions and either way was worse...
would not having my speedometer plugged in cause my jeep to idle rough? recently swapped engines and dont remember how it idled before i blew my old one (hydro lock) i dont have the speedo plugged in due to a having a tcase out of a 99 and my jeep is a 93, the plug is different, specs are 93...
had a slight mishap while putting my engine and the short of it is i need both ccv valves...is there anywhere besides the dealer that would have them...i have checked advance and they dont carry them, i have also been to the junkyards around here too they're either a different style or broken...
bought a dana 30 with gears, arb, 30 spline shafts...but the guy that had it before me redid the control arm mounts, drivers side seems to be fine but the passenger side is about 2-2.5" over to the diff both the upper and lower. will there be any major issues running it like that?
i just swapped in a sye'd 231 into my jeep(93 xj I6 auto) and have a guy wanting to buy my old 231 to put in a 98 zj(I6, auto) which came with a 242j. will it be a direct swap?
