I have a 96 cherokee that has a blown motor and i have my hands on a 89 cherokee my question is will the motor swap right over?

i got my hands on a built 305 for $300 im gonna put it in to my xj just wondering if bought an adapter can i bolt it to my stock tranny with out having problems? or do i need to buy a turbo 350?

anyone know what all needs to be taken off to remove the head from a 96 high output xj? thanks spencer

i was tearing down my motor today to see what was making the knocking noise and found this in my oil pan i think it part of the piston skirt? what do yall think?

i just started hearing a clicking noise coming from the bottom of my motor is this bad?
