Is one of the wires that run to the stereo connected to a relay by chance? I have an aftermarket radio in my '91 XJ and I notice that whenever I turn it on, I can hear a relay clicking. The relay is located on the passager kick panel under the dash, right under the glove box. Thanks Kris
