... hardly any XJ's to be found... I'm moving down to the Palm Springs area next month and I need to find a rig. My budget probably won't be more than $2000 and it will be registered and insured in Alaska... hopefully a few more pop up by the time I move down.

Well this time next week I will be on my way to Palm Spring. Driving my girlfriends Escape down. She is from DHS and has convinced my sorry butt to move back down with her. I will be flying back up to AK until Nov. I figured most of the Snow-Birds will be in town by then so jobs may be easier to...

Been a long ass time since I've been on here.
So, since I sold all my XJ's (all 6) and moved to Alaska I have been itching to find another.. I had a 92' 2 door for a month but the unibody got f'd up on a snow bank.
At least I have a tow rig now for when I do find one!
Found a rig and want to see about taking the computer and EFI out and throwing a carb in... What all is involved in this? Can I just get a new intake manifold and call it good, or does the timing ect... need to to be changed?
