Love the long story Matt!! The Rig look top notch! I am sorry to hear that the inagural run did not go as smoothly as one would hope but at least you got it out and it only busted 30min into the trail. Cant wait to see the the T-Day updates. Good luck in school. Oh and I have that tow strap...

    Tonoclay

From what the tow truck driver told us, someone came out in front of Clayton while he was heading out Dinkey Creak Road. He breaked and locked up all four tires and then struck the car that pulled out in front of him. The collision caused his car to pitch and roll. Apprently everyone including...

    Looky Looky

IF my memory serves me correct the IFS Ford 8.8 is a High pinion Reverse Cut gear. And the gear is thinner than a normal 8.8 ring gear. The IFS version comes close in rating to a standard 8.8 ring gear and that is pretty much 35s depending on rig and wheel weight. Either way, nice shinny pretty...

Annual Sierra Chapter Deer Valley Run

Gotta put my vote in for the 27th & 28th because have to leave room for the Sharks if they have to push to a game 7 Victory in the Stanley Cup Finals. Otherwise I will be driving up soon as the Finals are over and I have done the Cup victory dance.

    CB HELP

Harlee: Here is my 2cents: I would stay away from the magnet mounts because I find they just end up falling off on the trail. Either from viehical movement or from clearing a tree or something. Yes, you want the CB antenna as high up as possable so get it where ever you can for now. Since you...

    Sierra Trails and Rock Stacking

I agree there is a general lack of etiquette to leave the trail as it was found. There have been too many sections of trails in this region that have been stacked and left that way. There is a whole range of different rigs that run these trails. Some very capable and some less so but the trail...

    Jeep Speed at work

The rear was not kicking up that bad, at least it didn't feel bad. I think it was in part how I was taking the jump more than anything. Loved the landing though, it felt surprisingly smooth. It was a lot of fun. The front is a D30 - now slightly kinked.
