Acceleration Issue - NOT a Misfire

O2 sensors are new. New muffler and cat seems fine. I'll test TPS and CPS sensors first. Don't think it's a bad plug/wire... Thanks for the direction guys. Cheers

Acceleration Issue - NOT a Misfire

Was unable to find topic on search. This morning 2000 Jeep Cherokee Limited with 145k had a funny acceleration problem. Kinda like a sputter but not a misfire. Seemed more like a bounce from the CPU. Almost like rev limiter but at low RPM. Replaced TPS last summer. Any ideas? Thanks

    2000 xj Window Issue

I'm pretty sure they all do this sooner or later. I've been dealing with mine for years. Driver door controls always work so I just push the button for whoever is riding along...

    Chrysler should be shot!

I've got a good one... Anyone ever change the starter on a '98 VW Jetta? Two bolts to remove the starter which is located right on the front of the engine. Easy enough to get to. Problem is that those two bolts also double as 2 out of 3 of the front engine mount bolts. Pull them out and the...

    Front Axle Movement

I think Im going to call them today. I bought the kit from Quadratrac but figure I'll start with RE. Sure will be happy to get this crap taken care of.

    Front Axle Movement

Thanks everyone. When I was under the Jeep the first time it was just for a quick look in the driveway. Dark, cold, and I didnt want to spill my beer... I had been thinking about the possibilities in my head when I posted the OT so that when I get back under there this weekend I would have...

    Front Axle Movement

Yeah, I understand. I asked for advice and his was to take a look under the Jeep. Now I know to take a closer look at the RE bushings. I had no idea they were notorious for being crap.

    Front Axle Movement

Thanks JEEPXJ - Three votes for the RE bushings. Now I know:) Ahhh..."Diesel" - You remind me why I havent been on here for a couple of years. Sometimes its not worth it to explain every detail of a question or why I havent narrowed it down myself. Just looking for some ideas and I received...

    Front Axle Movement

Same thing, Ram-rod. Thats probably what's happening on yours. I dont get it on bumps so much but I do think it has affected my alignement. Geometry has to change a bit when that axle is rocking back and forth. I had my brother shift it in and out of gear while I was underneath watching. (He's...

    Front Axle Movement

The lift probably sat in my garage for 8mos before it was finally installed. Maybe I need to change all of the bushings?

    Front Axle Movement

Been a LONG time since I have looked at this forum. I searched this issue but did not find anything. 2001 Limited with 3.5 RE6025 installed a few months ago. I started to notice some noise from the front end and found that the whole axle is rotating forward and backward. This generally happens...

    Motorcycles anyone?

Come on. I ride HD and most of my friends do also. Nothing wrong with a growing number of Harleys on the road. Poser? Is that what you call the non-1%?? They are great, american made (for the most part) bikes. Maybe a little pricey tho...

    O2 Sensor Removal

Thanks guys. I ran the Jeep a few miles to get the exhaust nice and hot with no luck. Used WD40 and PB without luck. Guess I need to try a O2 socket? Big wrench fits on there fine but can't get the leverage maybe. Back to the parts store!

    Getting another Glock....but which one?

My vote is the G23. Love mine. Not too small, not too big - hardley a CCW gun but if needed you can. .40 ammo is abundant.

    O2 Sensor Removal

All right - I searched but get the "O2 is either too short or too common" message. Been a loooong time since I posted here, went from a job with a lot of free time to one without. Anyway, been working on the Jeep and cannot get the O2 sensor to budge. I have the new one, and figure that once I...

    Heated seat trouble

Mine does the same thing, same Jeep. 2000 Limited. When I bought it the drivers didn't work, now the passenger is intermittent. If your switch is blinking, it's probably the heaters. It's not that the element goes bad, but the wiring shorts. You can pull your leather off and try to find the...
