So I did a quick search and did not really find what I was looking for. I need to replace my rear pinion seal on my 2000 XJ with a 8.25. What size socket does it take? I tried to use the 1-1/8 that was used on my D30 last time, but it was to small. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Alex

Same issue on mine a while back. Ended up taking it to the local repair shop to get it off. I was only adding a cooler so it was not a big deal.

Thanks. You were right it was the wire connection for the buckle. I jiggled it and the beeps returned. Must have a loose connection. Thanks again

My 2000 XJ is doing the same thing and it started today. It caught me off guard because I always expect them. No slow beeps when the key is turned and the lights and gauges move into place. Did you find out what cause this or anyway to fix it?

Ebay has them and you can get the bezel for cheap. My dealership still has them for 97-01. I just got a fog switch the other day.

What I am referring to is the one mounted under the TJ rear seat. It was a factory option in the accessories catalog. Same Amp and Sub just mounted in a seat instead of a tire cover.

yes that metal tab is attached to the metal frame of the amp I did see a broken part of the wire on it so I soldered it back together. But the amp still blew around 8 days. I will see what I can do about testing them. This might be over my head. Thanks

So is there a way to test them? As far as the ones with the arrows I have not touched them. They were installed by the factory. Thanks

Ok so I did a drawing because I felt it would be easier to show the letter and number placement. I looked over all the connections and they look good. This unit was bought new in the pkg last year so I hope it can be fixed since they are no longer produced. I hope this information will help...
