Thanks,I am adding those to the list. I am just getting started, but I hope to get good and organized and keep a good running list of what I pull and its status between work, real Jeep work and life. Keep the sites coming.
That is an interesting miss, on gotgroceries.net I pulled the full way back archive and I can't find a technical record there was ever a link to tech. If anyone has a direct link to any of the old tech articles on the site, I can look for data that way, but that may be truly lost...
I know over the years many of the old websites have shut down, and other write-ups or photos not hosted here have disappeared. While the good news, is that many sites can still be accessed via stuff like way-back machine, I figured it might be worth starting some kinda archive project focused...
Well I’m trying to refocus my projects.
Free MJ project:

Depending on the issue I may have a fix for you. I never got around to writing it up, but I found a way to patch the plastic tube so it wont skip/slip in some cases as seen on the 2 door assembly. It involved hot glue and a specific tubing. (I need to find it again). This solved my issues on...
IRC they part numbers are different for each year but the function is the same. I can even make an auto ECU work with the manual version, but I prefer not to as you get a check engine light due to the missing TCU. The main diff in the 97+ was the swap in 2000 in ignition styles. Other than...
Looking for a 97-99 ish ECU for a 4.0L Manual (AX15). I want a spare on hand before I attempt the needed solder repair mine needs.
I have other combos Engine/Trans 97-2001 ECU if you prefer a trade.
Wow, I forgot I even posted this.
I was able to fix one of my window regulators that had a separation of the plastic tube that covers the metal coil by finding a plastic tube of the same plastic, slitting it down 1 side and using high temp hot glue to glue this over the broken tub and using...
Started the grill for dinner tonight and ended up grilling a whole nest. It was funny to watch them try to attack the hot grill.

I wanted to add additional notes to this post as on timing chains to help others like me who might be researching it.
The main thing I wanted to add are additional notes for 99+ Jeeps. As they Cam is different in the 99+ 4.0L there is a different cam sprocket. The Cloves Site has good...
I am sure others have had issues locating power window regulators for the 2 Door 97+ XJ. I have the passenger side window going out on me. (It does not want to go up, as the window seems to bind.)
Does anyone have an idea how these regulators could be rebuilt, or another window regulator...
As the title says I am searching for a 97+ 2 Door Power Window Regulator for the Passenger side. I know this is a long shot, but if you have one let me know. Thanks.
My original thought with posting was to find a shop that can do the work quick, cheap and right. I was going drop off the Jeep before I leave on my next trip and come back to it being fixed.
But after your comments, I think I might just get the Doorman Kit 38439 and replace the pins myself...
