Thanks thats what I had in mind, so are those basically tabs welded on the bumper directly? It doesnt really look like It's all the way through and braced. Just making sure that method is sturdy enough for pulling?
I'm trying to find the best and safest way to flat tow a cherokee without dumping a boat load. I know theres some companys out there that make tow brackets specific for a cherokee but their like $500 and also very bulky. I'v also seen Tomkens set-up with the tow bar but cant say Im all that...
sorry wanna make some corrections, I found out Its a SF axle....I believe the axle is 66" wms to wms but I'd like a second opinion on that. Still need to find out whether the off-set which I believe is 6" will still work for an XJ.
Got a line on a J4000 rear axle. Its 1 ton, Dana 60, FF, 35 spline, 5x5.5....only problem is It has slight offset to the right I believe. Would this still work on our XJ's....Also any Idea what gearing they came with stock and what the WMS is? The BOM is 603250. Thanks alot gurus.
got 4 -315/75/16 MT claw radials with all tires having around 75% tread remaining, no rock rash or plugs, were used on the street only....$500, note: 1 tires has minor cupping on the edge of tire.
also have 5 - 315/75/16 Goodyear MTR's, 3 tires are around 95% (maybe 1,000 miles), the 2 others...

I'm at 8" drop brackets and the RE arms that come with the 5.5 short arm kit, no problems, road manners are smooth as hell and I can stuff 35's Into the fenders.....
