Trying to remove 242 transfer case...
dropped the tranny crossmember...detatched the 5 nuts that hold it on tranny
detatched wiring harness and linkage...
IT wont come apart....any ideas needed ASAP
I just got into the 4WD business...at this point right now, and I'm not even close to being completly up and running...I've got close to $5,000.00 tossed into it and at least the same left to spend. Thats just to get the doors completly open and going. If you dont mind working...Still have full...
In my experience with XJ's...there are always a million things left to be done....I only say this to say a mid-90's jeep would also have a million things to be done to it...

After spending the majority of the morning being soooo careful taking a windshield out of a 88 to swap into a 92, finally getting it out...put it somewhere "safe" and walking away, I knocked a starter off the shelf next to it....I just broke it....I need to go back to bed, or drink a beer...
