I run 31x10.5 on a 15x7 wheel with a 2" spacer. Do you wheel much with the sway bar disconnected? If so, the most important thing will be to bump stop properly to prevent rubbing. I added a 1.25" spacer to my bumpstops in the front, but also trimmed the fenders and relocated the stock flares...

I ended up free handing it... works great, but it was kind of a PITA

What brand, how much, and when can you have it in sac? :)

I'm interested in the 231. Know anything about condition?

Thanks for the run-down Eric. Gas tank skid and ZJ steering. Rock sliders are on the to-do list, but I bought this rig for $800 so I'm not going to cry over a little rocker damage.

Are the planned trails do-able on 31's with locked rear? If so, I'm definitely interested, but can probly only make Sat/Sun

I've been lurking for awhile (and bought some parts from a few members!) and wanted to finally introduce myself. I bought my first XJ and first 4x4 last January for $800.. been slowly taking it out and small mods since then. Now sitting at 2" BB with 31". It's amazing what these things can do...

Sent you a PM Gordo. I've considered it, but this bottom end has a good amount of piston slap already (constant at idle, even when hot). It also has 383,000 miles on it. PO said it was rebuilt... god only knows how many miles ago. It is probably salvageable, as the other cylinders have 120psi...
