OBA – Pressure Switches making my Head Explode

I got my inline oiler at the local Home Depot, as well as the filter. I picked up the 3/8" variety for some reason, but either way, they work as desgined. Re: the pressure switch, I got a Square D brand one at a local hardware store, it's ment for shop air compressor's, etc. But it's...

    THOR4x4 quarter guards

Here's mine, if I recall the first few set's were tacked together on my XJ since it's rear quarter's were still somewhat straight. I love em, if anything cause of the LED talights, so many people notice them before they realize the guards are there.

    Pics from Stevenson today

I don't think CanMan was speaking of that. A few of the pictures look like theres not much of a trail present, kinda looks as if your just creating you own...

    Homemade pre-oiler

Do you specificly have to use the drain plug? Why create your own intake for the the pump? Pull the pan, drill a proper sized hole and then weld a 1/4" or 1/8" NPT or whatever size is needed bung to it. Could install this off to the side, a little higher up the pan, etc. Could even go...

    Homemade pre-oiler

Not really relavent, but the locomoitves I work with/on have a turbo lube oil pump the runs while priming the fuel system and for ~30 minutes after you shut the engine down to pre lube and then to cool the turbo. Probably be a PITA to find a pump, filter etc, to do a similar setup on an...

BODY ARMOR Rear Quarter Panel armor???

Yes, the light boxes are part of the guard. Although, the amber turn signal option is a thing of the past, the newer models of guards, IIRC, combine the stop/tail with the turn signal.

How to stow all the equipment?

Been pondering this for awhile, taking out the rear seat. I really don't do the crap I used to in high school taking 4 people out wheeling with me and what not. So I really can't justify that rear bench seat anymore... So whats that deck made out of John, sheet steel or some type of...

on board air with stock 90 AC compressor?

I've used either Parker or Goodyear rubber hose. The line off the compressor to the filter & check valve had the fittings crimped on, everything else was just done with hose clamps.

Finally, my dream has come true

Just outta curiosity, what's the remaining body like at this point, I mean with so much of the unibody gone?

Monday, being an evening event I would presume? What sorta time frame, considering rush hour traffic trying to go south out of Seattle might determine if I could go...

Uh-oh, someone caught me... Dang, now I'm on the internet. :shhh: Nice getting to get out with ya'll. That really was a fun at Walker, it's helped light that fire for me to get my Jeep back in shape. One of these days that RRJeep is gonna hit the trails again...

    optima batt.

I killed my red top about a year ago, after having it for like 4 years. I killed it though, kept running it down dead, which really isn't good for em. Replaced it with a yellow top. Saved my hide a few months ago when my alternator died, was able to drive home at night, no problems.

    Current state of the NWC?

I'll add that I'd really hate to see this chapter divided. Finding a good group of fellow 4wheelers isn't easy, let alone one catering to XJer's. This a good group of people from what I've seen and the few of you I've met or ran into on the trail, I'd hate to lose that. This chapters...
