there have been more than a few occasions where i've been quite thankful that i've had it... i had my clutch in my '96 turbo eclipse explode and rip apart my transmission, bell housing, thermostat housing, ripped apart my battery and threw battery acid all over everything under the hood - AAA...
though i've never had the problem, isolation filters work wonders for limiting bleed-over current (aka the transmission of eddy current for the carrier wire to another, causing that signal to be transmitted to two locations...)
also check the shielding of the cables, and what they're running...
it truly was a good time!!! thanks to all the shudderbugs - my camera battery had limited life, so i'm looking forward to the rest of the pics!! =)
