I didn't have any problems dropping the MORE mounts in my 99. They dropped right into place without too much trouble.
I did and still notice a HUGE amount of vibration though. I'm definitely looking into the rubber mounts now...
I picked up a Borgeson 893 shaft for my 99 Sport and don't believe that it will work. The OEM shaft runs from the steering box through the fire wall to the base of the tilt column. The column itself has a round splined shaft just like the power steering box. The Borgeson shaft has a large oblong...
Just did a search and found the post about a squeaky distributor. I think I've got this problem on my 99. Last week I did a tune on it and the squeak came out of no where. It sounds as if it's coming from the high right side of the engine right in the distributor area.
My question is everything...
The DT's are a great shock...I ran them on my CJ when I couldn't get OME's and thought they were almost as nice as the OME...great ride and not too stiff to jar your kidney's loose offroad...

It's not too bad...a couple of bolts and the entire unit will come out...I can't remember how the regulator attaches to the glass though...if it's like 90% of the other Dodge/chrysler parts out there it will just be two bolts as-well...
Usually the hardest parts are getting the glass out and...
I agree...I've eyed these with a sense of suspicion since they were revealed awhile back. I just don't see how you're not going to end up without any flex in the arms without a full support along the pinchseam...just because you've got a giant steel plate on the frame doesn't solve the problems...
Ok...I ran a glass shop for the past 3 years and know first hand that glass from the older XJ models is different from the late models...it is however not enough of a difference to keep you from installing one or the other. Does this mean to just slap whatever in that you can get your hands on...

in all the different shops I've delt with I think that Dirk has got to be one of the most honest guys I've come across. He said he'd match any one else's price and beat their customer service and he's lived up to that claim time and again...
Any time I have a...
