    Engine 4.0 - injector leaks

If three are leaking then they are all on their way out. Time to buy a new set. Here's where I got mine: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JEEP-Cherokee-4-0-fuel-injectors-NEW-TAKE-OUTS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33554QQihZ014QQitemZ330065293374QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V

Testing timing chain stretch via crankshaft/distributor rotation?

I searched but couldn't find the post regarding a technique where rotating the crankshaft (at the harmonic balancer) with a breaker bar and watching the distributor rotor one could gauge if the timing chain had too much slack. Does that ring a bell with anyone? Thanks, John V.

'96 XJ running too cold - even with Robert shaw tstat

Yes...just confirming the above also! Also if hot air is coming out of the heater even with a low temp reading then my guess would be a bad gauge. If warmish-cool air was coming out of the heater with a low temp reading then your system IS running cool. Also make sure you installed the proper...

    Speaker install

I don't know of a write-up but installing a sound bar is fairly easy. Take off the trim starting from the lower back of the Jeep. Loosen trim where the sound bar will hook in. Remove dome light assembly. Hook both ends of sound bar to the trim. Go to this page and look at image "_MG_0697"...

    Interior swap

The headliner is fairly easy to take care of. I resin coated mine and painted a speckled gray. If had to do it again I would add fiberglas mat fabric for extra strength as I have a sun roof and a crack developed where the infrared receiver door opener and sunroof meet. Here's a few pixs of the...

Is there a factory CD Player...

    >I'd like to get rid of the radio with cassette If you are going to replace the head unit anyway just purchase a unit that plays mp3 files burnt on a CD. I have an Alpine head unit that does that and CDs can hold ten+ hours of music on it. Also might want to look at units that have a direct...
