    I'd assume the rubber on your motor mounts is old. FWIW I've been very happy with my brown dog mounts, easy to replace the rubber on them. As for header, I run a borla, Love it! Probably almost 10 years old now. And it's survived with my 4.6L stoker.

    Ah, but therein lies the rub! The 8.8 has a limited slip whereas the D44 is open 3.54. I'd be gaining a traction aid.

    What prices are stock XJ dana 44 axles going for now? I'm pushing numbers on regearing the 44 that has KJ discs on it versus regearing a (Free) 8.8 with 3.73 limited slip to 4.10. Thanks in advance!

    Thanks guys! I was on the fence between 4.10s and 3.73s, And this pushed me to find some 4.10s for the 265/75R16 I'm running. 3.54s weren't deep enough for the five! FYI: I get about 18MPG with the 4.6l stroker, 3.54s & AX15.

    John, Can you comment on how the 3.73, AX-15 combo is? How is it on the trails? Would you say it's ideal for a daily driver? What's your MPG's with that setup? Thanks!

    97 exhaust question

    I have the dynomax cat-back. It's great for the money, Got it on sale for $75. After 4 years the muffler has cracked it's case, Most likely do to not having one of the hangers setup right, So I'm going to try a magnaflow knock-off from "flea-bay". Just my .02

    Let's go deeper on the subject, I have a '98 with 4.6l and AX-15, Would 4.88s be too deep for 31s (current) or 33s(wishlist)?

    I put in some redline, Got it from summit racing. Shifts better than the 10-40 diesel oil that was there before.

    Thanks Tim, I probably had been reading one too many threads on long/mid arms... Largefarva, You are correct it's 5.82 on the left and 5.62 for the right side. Would extending the right LCA be better here? Funny part of the alignment repot is that it started with 5.71 left and 5.51 right, And...

    I just had the XJ aligned and thought that I would ask around if the numbers are in the right range. It drives fine, But would it help if the LCAs were longer? They are set at 16 1/8" It has 3 5/8" lift front and 3 3/4" rear. Castor is 5.82* Camber is -0.05* left and -0.19* right Toe is 0.05*...
