I don't have a link, but the arb bumper has turn signals incorporated into the front of it because the lower (middle?) bar blocks the signal in the grille. It has two wires coming off each light. The xj is a '98 with two bulbs/sockets in each front marker/signal housing. Each bulb has I believe...
Anybody know which wires I need to tap into? I tried looking up wiring diagrams and google searching but all I'm coming up with are rear signal wires for trailers. This is the last thing i need to do before i install this thing. I really dont want two lights there that do absolutely nothing so I...
I think I decided I'm going with TRE rope. Everyone says it's great and it's only like $150 for 85 feet of 3/8. Granted that's double what the Amazon stuff costs but half of what the big name brands charge. I planned on going with a factory 55 for the hook or whatever it's called, but then I saw...
I'm not so much interested in it for strength purposes. It's 99% for the weight savings. My question is, how can Warn and Masterpull and those guys charge $300 to $400 and this XBull is $80 or $90 if it's sk75 dyneema like they say
So I see the XBull winchline says it's sk75 (sk?) Dyneema. Is it good quality or a false sense of security? The strength is rated way higher than the high end ropes. I just got a smoking deal on an arb bumper ($200) and a brand new never used Warn m8000 ($500). I have RE 4.5 coils. I want to...
I hate to revive an old thread but in my research this is the only one that pops up, on all of Google. Anyway, how do you tell which one you have? I've yet to pull mine as I need to order my new one before I tear things down
But hows the latch keep the arm from slightly moving back and forth? That's what I cant figure out. I mean, I can see how yours does with the pin but most others dont use one
That's the thing, everyone says its weak because it only mounts to the factory 3 holes on each side but most others do as well. As far as I know you have to buy the tie ins for almost all aftermarket bumpers out there. If it's made of 3/16" plate I dont see how it can be any weaker than the rest
I just installed the exact combo you're talking about except I did use stock shackles. The RE 4.5 coils lifted me about 5 to 5.5" and the back end is sitting an inch to an inch and a half higher. To use stock shackles with the RC relocation brackets I had to trim the two back holes off. My...
I dont mean the nut strip. Isn't the piece of metal about 8 or 9 inches in welded in place or is it riveted? On the nut strip it has that curve to go over the piece I'm talking about. On the Circle S inserts they're flat and 1/4" thick so they won't conform by tightening the bolts
