Connecting ARB turn signals to a '98?

There we go. Thank you my friend.

Connecting ARB turn signals to a '98?

I don't have a link, but the arb bumper has turn signals incorporated into the front of it because the lower (middle?) bar blocks the signal in the grille. It has two wires coming off each light. The xj is a '98 with two bulbs/sockets in each front marker/signal housing. Each bulb has I believe...

Connecting ARB turn signals to a '98?

Anybody know which wires I need to tap into? I tried looking up wiring diagrams and google searching but all I'm coming up with are rear signal wires for trailers. This is the last thing i need to do before i install this thing. I really dont want two lights there that do absolutely nothing so I...

    Amazon winch rope

A roller fairleads fine as long as its brand new with zero scuffs.

    Amazon winch rope

I'm going to get a new roller fairlead since I'm running the ARB and it has that roller fairlead support built in to it.

    Amazon winch rope

I think I decided I'm going with TRE rope. Everyone says it's great and it's only like $150 for 85 feet of 3/8. Granted that's double what the Amazon stuff costs but half of what the big name brands charge. I planned on going with a factory 55 for the hook or whatever it's called, but then I saw...

    Amazon winch rope

I'm not so much interested in it for strength purposes. It's 99% for the weight savings. My question is, how can Warn and Masterpull and those guys charge $300 to $400 and this XBull is $80 or $90 if it's sk75 dyneema like they say

    Amazon winch rope

So I see the XBull winchline says it's sk75 (sk?) Dyneema. Is it good quality or a false sense of security? The strength is rated way higher than the high end ropes. I just got a smoking deal on an arb bumper ($200) and a brand new never used Warn m8000 ($500). I have RE 4.5 coils. I want to...

difference between Sanden SD709 and SD7H15

I hate to revive an old thread but in my research this is the only one that pops up, on all of Google. Anyway, how do you tell which one you have? I've yet to pull mine as I need to order my new one before I tear things down

Destaco Latches for tire carrier and metal in pass frame rail

But hows the latch keep the arm from slightly moving back and forth? That's what I cant figure out. I mean, I can see how yours does with the pin but most others dont use one

    Anybody with an ARB...

That's the thing, everyone says its weak because it only mounts to the factory 3 holes on each side but most others do as well. As far as I know you have to buy the tie ins for almost all aftermarket bumpers out there. If it's made of 3/16" plate I dont see how it can be any weaker than the rest

Destaco Latches for tire carrier and metal in pass frame rail

Alright I got the metal piece out with a 12" chisel and a 3 pound sledge. Now, about those Destaco latches?

    4.5" lift with Shackle Relocators

I just installed the exact combo you're talking about except I did use stock shackles. The RE 4.5 coils lifted me about 5 to 5.5" and the back end is sitting an inch to an inch and a half higher. To use stock shackles with the RC relocation brackets I had to trim the two back holes off. My...

Destaco Latches for tire carrier and metal in pass frame rail

I dont mean the nut strip. Isn't the piece of metal about 8 or 9 inches in welded in place or is it riveted? On the nut strip it has that curve to go over the piece I'm talking about. On the Circle S inserts they're flat and 1/4" thick so they won't conform by tightening the bolts

Destaco Latches for tire carrier and metal in pass frame rail

I have another thread going about ARB bumpers but I didn't want to clutter that with these questions. Its obvious how the vertical latch would work for this purpose simce it pulls in but how would a horizontal latch get the job done? Its pulling down on the arm while its locked but what keeps...

    Anybody with an ARB...

I haven't ever seen one in person. I was thinking of getting a jcr diy bumper and having the tubes bent up and welding them on, with the same center uprights the arb has for that triangulation. The problem is it has such high ground clearance that a deer would go right under it (I think. I...

XRC Smittybuilt rear bumper - keep looking

I have the JCR diy bumper kit that I planned on building and making a tire carrier for. My plan was to beef up the hitch at the same time. The reason I decided not to go the diy route (which would look better and be about half the price) is the liability issues should something happen. If I buy...

    Anybody with an ARB...

I've seen pretty much all the xj bumpers available fellas. The winch aspect is a secondary concern. Spending $900 on a bumper isn't the best for sure, but it beats having to replace the entire front clip, radiator, fans, battery tray and air box. The ARB was designed for protection against...

    Anybody with an ARB...

I guess that would work if I hit it in the dead center of the Cherokee but that doesn't always happen. None of the prerunner/stinger bumpers offer headlight or front corner protection. Theres Trail Gear which is like $1400 or so, Warn that is butt ugly and ARB.
