    xj ABS brake/axle questions

correct, both front and rear shafts have tone rings with a sensor that is mounted to read from them. which is why I assumed they would be the same as well, but I am getting two different part numbers for the later models, one for abs and one for non-abs. my concern is that the backing plates...

    xj ABS brake/axle questions

I am currently in the process of removing the abs system from my 96 xj. I have got the front axle squared away but am having some questions about the rear. What is the difference between the wheel cylinders for the ABS and non-ABS dana 35? Any info will be great.

    Stock rear leaf spring replacement......

    Stock rear leaf spring replacement......

I have been researching stock leaf spring replacements for a few weeks now. I have found several listed by crown at Morris 4x4 as well as Quadratec. I also have found several threads that give open spring arch as well as a pound rating but this does not help in knowing how the jeep sits with...

    newly rebuilt 4.0 problem

I have recently got the 4.0 from my 97 xj running after three years. It is basically a stock rebuild. I am having a nasty lifter tick that is not going away. I ran some seafoam through the crank case with no luck in getting the lifter un-stuck. I really do not want to ruin a complete rebuild...
