Are they a good shop? I need to get a front driveline that I am using with a H&T SYE shortened for my XJ and was wondering if Yarman's is good or if there is a better shop in Lancaster or the Bakersfield area (same drive either way).
Thanks!
I am looking for a driveline shop in the area to shorten a stock front drive shaft. It's either this or this and ditching the h&t sye for a brand new sye. I'd rather not do that till I'm ready for a 2lo kit at the same time.
Thanks
It is sad to see Jeep now when you think of how easy this brand is to design and produce.
1) Open top 4-wheel drive vehicle
2) Enclosed 4-wheel drive vehicle
3) Pickup
4) Fancy enclosed 4-wheel drive vehicle
Share engines, axles, body work, etc amongst the first 3. Offer all in heavy offroad...
I'll see. I'm hoping to have some tubing work done on my jeep by then (and a chopped back) and hopefully a lunch box up front. The other jeep that would be going will probably just have 30's and a 3" lift. Tow points and some armor.
Never mind, just saw when and where.
Do you think jeeps with only 30's-31's and no lockers could do the Rubicon? I'm willing to try after I install some more skids. Not sure about the other jeeps.
We've done the Sherman pass trail and Monache meadow twice. SP is a good trail, just not that long. Thanks for the suggestion though, more ideas are good.
I'm helping plan a scout jeep trip this summer and looking for suggestions for a 4-5 day trip.
The xj's will probably be on 3-4" lifts and 30-31 tires with moderate armor.
Any suggestions are welcome. Rubicon would be awesome but all drivers have agreed that we would be two years away at...
I would like to. We had to take the truck instead of the jeep and we found some places are hard to comfortably drive a full size into.
Any links or pics of the completed projects?
I've read a lot of threads that people want to try it, but has anyone done it? Reason being I've got a family of 6 now and the jeep is our vehicle of choice till the youngest is 5 and we can take quads and bikes through the desert. Any links or experience on completing this seat swap?
Thanks!
