Yes it did pass emissions. Like I said, the light is periodic (comes on like 2-3 times per month and stays on for a day or 2). When I went in for emissions, the light was off.

I think I agree with wolfpack on this one. If changing the engine is super simple, that means that changing the plugs must be a 15-30 second job. :laugh: Glad it worked out for you though. Your risk payed off...to the tune of a $10 savings haha

For a cheaper solution, just wait a little while. I have the same problem, but i got a feel for it and now i know just how far i can go before they rub. Once you get used to it, it probably won't bother you as much. Just my $.02
