Yes it did pass emissions. Like I said, the light is periodic (comes on like 2-3 times per month and stays on for a day or 2). When I went in for emissions, the light was off.

For a cheaper solution, just wait a little while. I have the same problem, but i got a feel for it and now i know just how far i can go before they rub. Once you get used to it, it probably won't bother you as much. Just my $.02

That's true i guess but if you're putting enough strain on the axle to bend it like that, you might wanna go with something stronger than that, maybe an axle truss? Edit: just saw your post about the reason it was bent. Hopefully you now have recovery points and you won't have to worry about...

That's exactly what i was thinking. That thickness + those welds = bent/torn off gusset. What type of welder are you using? And don't worry, we've all laid down beads that look like that:laugh3: Keep practicing and you'll get the hang of it...

Same thing here...when i did the lift the weld broke on the nut welded inside the unibody rail that the leaf spring bolt goes into. I had to drill a 1/4 inch hole in the unibody rail and blindly stick my welding rod up there and try to tack the nut back in place without touching anything else...
